I painted this small fishing boat in the evening at a quiet local Marina in Apalachicola Florida spring 2026. As soon as I got done painting the scene, two local fisherman jumped in the boat and took off for some sunset fishing, beer and storytelling which started long before the boat left and we could hear clearly across the small Inlet, very entertaining! Also, when the boat took off there were a few other artists friends of mine who had not finished the boat so, lots of cussing like sailors on both sides of the inlet.
